Selvedge Denim.

Selvedge fabric is created on vintage shuttle looms, creating denim with a neat finished edge hence the term Self-Edge (Selvedge).

The hems are tightly woven and prevent the denim from unravelling - the manufacturing process is slow and detailed, but the outcome is a premium quality denim product that has durability.

It is ideal to wash the denim in cold or lukewarm water to minimize the fall of the indigo dye. Also, the hotter the water, the more your denim will shrink, so a lukewarm soak is ideal.

Our 055 selvedge denim is unsanforized to provide a perfect fit when washed in lukewarm or cold water. There is a characteristic to an unsanforized denim that provides self-identity. The after wash fit gives you a personal look based on the fit of the denim. The more its worn the more comfortable it fits to your frame. There is a skill to keep the denims at a custom size after wash but that’s the whole point of owning an unsanforized denim it’s the care and maintenance that is part of the denim process.
