The image of the pyramid and the sphinx bares a history in relation to the birth of indigo.

The ancient Egyptians made a mark globally by making the first source of blue of every hue via dyeing and cultivating unique methods. It is well known that it was distinctive and compatible to other natural fibres of that time.

The colours when combined with other natural dyes made an incredible impact to the history of indigo and carried on through centuries to be developed for clothing.

Due to historical, agricultural, plant sources and dyeing methods - Indigo became commerce and was part of the economic revolution in the 20th Century. Various pattern techniques were used by different cultures by the indigenous people of their tribe and origin. From South America to the far east, a wide range of beautiful textiles were used.
